The business community has neglected I.T investment over recent years; sadly the same under investment is apparent in education.  The emphasis is changing, more money is being spent on IT projects but some schools are playing “catch up”

New initiatives and “kick start” funding hope to reinvigorate the way schools take responsibility for their own finance.  Allowing schools the autonomy to decide what they spend there money on? And how they spend that money?

Some innovative schools are already using alternative funding methods giving them the ability to invest in an IT infrastructure which keeps them ahead of where they need to be.
